American Silver Eagle - 1 OZ .999 Fine Silver Coin

American Silver Eagle Both Side

These gorgeous Silver Eagle Coins are minted at West Point, New York and contain one ounce of .999 Pure Silver. These are legal tender silver dollar coins authorized by the United States government. Makes an excellent (and affordable) gift!

Released in 1986, the Silver Eagle is America's official investment-grade silver bullion coin. It is also the world's only silver bullion coin whose weight, content and purity are guaranteed by the U. S. Government. From 1986-1992, American Silver Eagle Proofs were minted at the San Francisco facility and included the "S" mint mark. From 1993 through 2000, they were produced in Philadelphia and featured the "P" mint mark - a special 10th anniversary coin was also struck from West Point in 1995 and included the "W" mint mark. Since 2001, Proof Silver Eagles have been minted in West Point and bear the "W" mint mark.
